I am just an old fashioned gentleman looking for the one and NOT the many. I really like being active and love the outdoors but staying in and cooking a romantic dinner and then cuddling up with some popcorn and a good movie isn't to shabby either.

I am looking to find someone that can COMMUNICATE for without that a true foundation cannot be built. I am looking for my best friend, my lover, my partner in crime. It's us against them and they will not win...lol!!

I am looking for someone who is done with "casual" dating and really, truly wants to settle down. I want someone who TRULY has the TIME to put into something as I would like to see someone regularly and not just on a weekend or 1 night for dinner once a week. If that is the case, please pass because I am not into "part-time" love.

I enjoy classic rock and instrumental tracks. I also enjoy most movies and even a "chick-flick" every now and again. I wear my heart on my sleeve and chivalry is not dead on my watch. Having been single I know what I really miss in not having someone special in my life such as sending flowers, giving cards and calling in the middle of the day just because. I miss being part of an "us" but I would rather be single for the right reasons than with someone for the wrong.

Most people would rather have the "coffee date" to size you up and see if you are dating material. If I had my druthers, I would rather meet at a quiet/romantic place to have a well cooked meal, share a bottle of wine and have nice conversation that lasts for hours and we don't notice the time or care and we leave knowing we can't wait to see eachother again and are already calling on the way home hoping to see eachother very soon!!

Many things come to mind but a couple are deep sea fishing and swimming with the dolphins. Also horseback riding on the beach would be a blast!!

Anything outdoors is always a good start. It could be hiking in the Santa Monica mountains, hiking, walking on the beach or seeing a baseball game. I enjoy playing sports as well as watching. I also enjoy playing tennis and golf. Fun is also cooking a nice dinner with someone and popping a big bowl of popcorn and cuddling up and watching a good movie.
