| I Would Describe Myself As | I became a widow 7 years ago after 25 years of marriage. I have two grown daughters and four grandchildren who all reside in California. I moved to California in 1989 after living in Ohio, Chicago, Pennsylvania. I have worked in the medical field for 20 years and have recently retired. I enjoy riding on the back of Harley's, who ever guessed that I would become a Harley grandma. I enjoy getting dressed up but love wearing those jeans. I love boating, although I don't go in the water much. I have been on several cruises to the Caribbean and Alaska. I travelled to Europe several times as well as to Hawaii. I must have my cup of Java in the morning to get me up and about while listening to the news and weather. I enjoy my soaps during the day (All My Children, One Life to Live, and General Hospital and the evenings American Idol, Dancing with the Stars, and the Bachelor. Since all my family is back East, I call them Saturday mornings to chat with Mom who is 93 years young. Family has always been important to me but they have their lives and families and I now live mine.I am up to trying most anything within reason. Although I am 64 years young, I do not look it. Most people think I'm in my 40's. I love the holidays and decorate for almost all of them. I usually have friends and/or family over for holiday dinners. I enjoy cooking. I love Italian, Chinese and Japanese foods. I make a good chicken soup with home made noodles. I use the grill for barbequing steaks and did I mention I make great ribs. I love going to Pismo/Shell Beach to visit with friends. Always have a great time and they are always up for company.If you enjoy walking on the beach, going to the zoo, a good dinner with a glass of vino, or just a quiet evening relaxing at home you may be the one.Drop a line or two and let's see where it goes. |
