I am an even-keeled type. Family is incomparable, and I love them to no end. Friends get the best of my loyalty in their interests, even if I disagree with them. I'm passionate about religion and politics but stay within the realm of the comfort of others when engaged in those conversations. Good conversations about anything under the sun add more sweetness to life. At the same time, there is no sweetness like talking with my nieces.

Being a student of Diplomacy/International Relations and Public Admin, I read a lot of technical publications, but I rather enjoy a relaxing book to have at Branch Brook or Central Parks - though I do I nothing there just as well.

I'm into football (of the sort most of us americans call soccer) but appreciate the display of talent in nearly any activity. I'd rather be a participant than an obsever, and so would rather be personally active than watch tv. That activity extends to cooking which I enjoy when I make the time for it.

In addition to graduate studies, I'm also relearning German and Hebrew, at my leisure. German to not let something learned completely slip away. Hebrew because I love finding interesting material to consider and ponder from Talmud, Mishneh Torah, etc. , and I would prefer more direct translating.

The high point of my week is Shabbat and davening in shul, and my city's synagogue is open and welcoming on Yom Shabbat should you like to daven or care to see Jersey's oldest Aron - stay for kiddush.
